چکیده
This review describes sheep genetic resources in Bulgaria with coloured wool and evaluates the country’s potential for production. In 2018, counted 125,422 animals belonging to 18 native breeds, six of which are danger extinction. Native breeds can be divided into three groups depending on fleece colour animals: i) fully pigmented all animals; ii) or white fleece; iii) spotted fleece.
